GAS Toni 6 - 25.4.2025

What happened on the last evening of the first season....

Episode 1: Mobility turnaround and heavy worker pension

Martin brings a home-baked cake with an icing gasoline as decoration to work. Esther enquires how many kilograms you have to carry to work for it to be recognized as heavy work. Martin, who is suffering from increasing work pressure, threatens to go to the Chamber if he doesn't get a higher salary. Sabine goes for a medical check-up and for the first time the results are negative - she suffers from high blood pressure. As a result, the whole workforce does squats with her during the break - but Sabine overdoes it and has a breakdown. The Pakistani warehouse worker Mike does a spiritual breathing exercise with her - she is transformed and decides to give away all her belongings and walk to Pakistan. Her empty office becomes a meditation room - Esther sits there for 4 days and is introverted. Meanwhile, Martin and Astrid try to keep the business running - but there is complete chaos - so they decide to bring Sabine back and drive off in the car towards Pakistan - they catch Sabine in Premstätten, where she can't go any further due to heavy rainfall and stops the car. In the end, everyone is back in the office, Martin gets a hard-worker's bonus for the cake he baked and everyone drinks Pakistani schnapps, the special effect of which is that it makes you drunk.

Episode 2: Artificial intelligence - under the influence of stress and hysteria

Everyone in the office is under pressure. The AI is constantly being asked questions - whether it's Sabine wanting to know where she should go on vacation or Esther from ChatGPT wanting to find out what illness Sabine's cat is suffering from. The Swiss warehouse worker Mike, who speaks an incomprehensible dialect for everyone, fetches the thyroid medication Codexol for Sabine's cat - the animal's recovery is monitored from the office via a surveillance camera.
Only Martin repairs Astrid's broken laptop the old-fashioned analog way - but there are problems the first time they try it out, so they order 6,000 120-liter instantaneous water heaters and 12,000 60-liter instantaneous water heaters from China.
Sales representative Werner Weiß arrives to take time off so that he can go to his mother's funeral in Eisenstadt - but he is actually supposed to receive his letter of resignation from Sabine and Esther, as the sales force work is to be done by robots in future.
Meanwhile, Astrid and Martin are feverishly trying to cancel the delivery of instantaneous water heaters that they are monitoring via the Internet, as the company's storage capacity would never be sufficient for all the appliances. They finally succeed by redirecting the container ships, which are currently in the Suez Canal, to the wrong address - Graceland, USA - and the delivery is returned to its original destination due to the high costs.
Astrid wants to support Werner - out of loyalty to the family's traditional team - he can mow her lawn and take up residence in her garden shed with his mother's former care bed. When a robot identifies Mike as Boiler, a radical rethink begins: all the computers are thrown away and Werner is reinstated. They greet each other with “Mahlzeit” again, a midday nap is a possibility and Sabine and Werner, who used to seem close, flirt with a new, analog rapprochement...
